"Motherhood Begins Now"™ Kick-Off Event:

PAM 2009 officially launched with an inspiring free lifestyle event celebrating the four initiatives of the month-long campaign: education, exercise, nutrition & wellness and nurture. Presented by 7th Generation, O Organics™ and Hot Mom's Club, and held at Little Dolphins , 1812 Stanford Street in Santa Monica, California, a portion of the proceeds from this weekend event will benefit Healthy Child Healthy World. Bash Eco Events coordinated this green eco event! Attendees were treated to a mini fashion show produced by A Pea in the Pod, live music from Renee & Jeremy, panel discussions: "From Conception to Infancy" and "Raising Healthy Kids in a Toxic World" with pregnancy and child development experts including reknowned pediatrician Dr. Alan Greene, fitness expert Lisa Druxman, and author Christopher Gavigan, a mom-a-licious organic lunch designed by Chef Domenica Catelli, Pregnancy Magazine & The Cradle presented free Holistic Mommy Lounge Spa Services (with Preggatinis™ & Green Bliss Eco Spa), Hot Mom's Club offered free non-toxic young children’s and family activities and sponsors and partners created a focused area offering mommy-related & green product education. Hosted by PAM founder Anna Getty , Ricki Lake, Kelly Rutherford, and Josie Maran, the event drew over 300 guests this year and celebrity attendees including, Jason Priestly, Jessica Capshaw, Marley Shelton, Marisa Coughan, Golden Brooks, Zoe Alexander, and Sarah Jane Morris. Guests feedback from the day, "inspiring day, thank you" "I was informed and able to relax, wow" "thank you for making me feel happy and proud to be a pregnant mom!"
